A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a full- or part-time Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the physical facilities and hotel grounds through a structured program of preventive, corrective, and repair maintenance. You ensure that daily work orders and repairs are completed in a timely manner to guarantee total guest satisfaction. You also make sure that the pool chemistry and temperature are in accordance with current health department standards.
Your top priority is the safety and security of the hotel grounds and building, and maintaining the hotel grounds and landscaping in a neat and attractive manner. This includes timely snow removal and ensuring the safety of walkways and parking lots. You enjoy keeping busy and love the variety you get in your work. It fills you with satisfaction to know you're so important to our team!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN?
- Knowledge of and experience with physical plant maintenance and physical plant protection
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, vendors, supervisors, and associates
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
