Pay: $2,059.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Tucson, AZ on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide rapid assessment and high-quality care to patients with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate has strong emergency nursing experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage and rapid assessments for patients presenting with emergent and critical conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to stabilize and treat patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment.
• Assist in trauma care, resuscitation efforts, and other emergency procedures as required.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and evidence-based practices in emergency nursing.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Arizona (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ED nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills in high-pressure environments.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
