Job Title : Staff Pathologist

Location : Remote

Hours : Position will require a minimum of 20 hours a week (M-F, standard business hours) and up to 40 hours a week

Compensation : $62.00 - $90.00/hr

Type : Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent



Overview
This is a remote position for an experienced Staff Pathologist (MD) who has experience diagnosing cancer in any capacity.



Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic pathology analysis
• Ensure compliance with laboratory and medical regulations
• Collaborate with medical teams on case reviews
• Support research and clinical trials through pathology insights
• Contribute to quality control and assurance processes

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree required
• Board certification in pathology required
• 3-5 years of experience is ideal
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices

• Experience with developing and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for quantitative image analysis of cancer tissue biomarkers.
• Experience in IHC-supervised annotation procedures for tumor identification, specifically outlining tumor cells in a localized area.
