Job Title : Receiving & Inventory Manager # of employees in position : 1

Position reports to : VP of Operations

Position Summary
This position will oversee the receiving operation and associated inbound inventory, as well as finished goods. This role excludes production inventory, which is overseen by the PMC group.
Position Description
· Lead and manage a team of inventory and inbound personnel, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management.
· Maintain and optimize the inventory tracking system to ensure accurate recording of deliveries, transfers, and shipments between facilities.
· Monitor inventory accuracy and develop process improvements to enhance storage, movement, and control procedures.
· Analyze daily product flow to anticipate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring accuracy from intake through distribution.
· Oversee internal and external deliveries and transfer movements to improve operational efficiency.
· Communicate effectively with inbound and inventory staff to meet business goals and address personnel matters.
· Collaborate with other departments and management to improve overall supply chain performance and reduce costs.
· Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, logistics performance, procedural efficiency, and staffing updates.
· Partner with the Production Team to develop weekly and monthly forecasts and create production schedules based on plant capacity and material availability.
· Serve as the liaison between the Inventory and Production Teams to ensure alignment of material needs and availability.
· Ensure system data accuracy for all inventory-related transactions.
· Learn and apply SAP and other in-house systems to execute production and inventory plans effectively.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Approval
The Executive Team will be involved in all hires, when appropriate. Team determines need, Human Resources will facilitate the hiring process and select candidates, Finance will verify budget for the position. The position’s direct manager will also be part of the interviewing and decision-making process as well as a possible peer.
Position Requirements
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
· Proficiency with inventory management systems and related software for tracking and reporting.
· Strong analytical skills with experience in data tracking and reporting.
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Additional Information
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in inventory or supply chain management.
- Languages: English and Mandarin required.
- Certifications: None required.

Training and Travel Required for Position
· Strong working knowledge of SAP and other MRP systems required.
· Occasional travel to the main plant in Tennessee.

- Internal Customers: Corporate, warehouse, and production personnel.
- External Contacts: Vendors, visitors, and callers.
- Partners: All departments.
Work Environment
This role operates primarily in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal safety or health hazards. Physical requirements include sitting, walking, occasional bending or lifting (including overhead and waist-level lifting), frequent computer use, and near-vision tasks.
