We are looking for a self motivated dental assistant who is committed, flexible, reliable, a team player, performs well under pressure, and has a positive outgoing personality. As a dental assistant at Flagstaff Downtown Dental you will have the opportunity to learn from an incredibly knowledgeable and fun-loving staff. • Responsibilities:

- Assisting hygienists and doctors utilizing 4 handed dentistry

- Dental x-rays, intraoral imaging, scanning and impressions

- Operatories sterilization and setting up

- Sterilization of dental instruments

- Maintaining the flow of the clinical schedule

- Charting with the hygienists and doctors

- Patient screening

- Explaining treatment and procedures to patients

- Scheduling of appointments

- Providing the patients with the best possible experience

• Preferred requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an assistant

- College degree

- Health care setting experience

• Requirements:

- Residing in Flagstaff full-time

- Excellent customer service

- Positive professional attitude

- Strong organizational skills

- Adaptability, reliability and initiative

- Desire to learn and grow

• THIS IS NOT A SEASONAL POSITION - long term applicants only, please.
• THIS IS NOT A PART TIME JOB - We are unable to work around school schedules

• Benefits:

- Insurance: medical and dental for full-time employees after 3 months probation period.

- Hours: 30-40 hours a week. No weekend hours. No night shifts.
