Faculty Physician - General Gastroenterologist with a focus in IBD

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical GroupTucson is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist who specializes in the care of complex inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients. A candidate with an advanced fellowship in Crohn's and colitis would be ideal. You will be joining a team of IBD providers that includes one MD, two APPs, nursing, and pharmacy support. The IBD practice draws patients from the Southwest region and serves as the only site for IBD specialists within Banner Health. The candidate can walk into a practice with a panel of IBD patients from the start. This is a tremendous opportunity to build an IBD practice and make an immediate impact in the region. You will be joining an established Clinical Faculty team at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Center - Tucson Campus & South Campus in Tucson, AZ.
Our division features a robust fellowship program that is ACGME accredited. Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care, strong teaching and clinical skills and desire translational research. Qualified candidates will receive a faculty appointment to the University of Arizona consistent with their credentials.
