Position Summary
The Cashier provides friendly and efficient checkout service, ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining accurate cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Provide product and store information to customers.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout stations.
- Support with bagging, bin resets, and customer assistance.
- Restock bins and shelves throughout the day.
- Move product from warehouse to sales floor safely.
- Assist in store resets and layout changes.
- Maintain organization of back stock and overstock areas.
- Support with light cleaning and safety checks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math and POS operation skills.
- Reliable and detail-oriented.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- 6+ months in retail or warehouse stocking preferred.
Work Environment
- Front-of-store, standing and light lifting required
- Retail and warehouse settings with regular physical activity.
