RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with two shift options: 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:45 AM to 8:30 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week schedule
• On-call responsibilities include one 12-hour call shift (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and two 24-hour weekend calls (6:00 AM to 6:00 AM) per six-week period
• Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience required
• Arizona nursing license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment for safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Position created for coverage during staff leave
