Electrical Wiring Technician

Are you an experienced electrical technician who takes pride in precision wiring and high-quality workmanship? In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble and wire electrical control equipment while ensuring every build meets strict safety and quality standards. Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM | Overtime as needed
Pay Rate: $21/hr

Duties:

• Wire control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and automatic transfer switches (ATS)

• Assemble electrical switchboard equipment and sub-assemblies per specifications and schematics

• Wire electronic components, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions to complete tasks independently

• Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and electrical codes

• Track workflow progress and promptly report issues, defects, or material shortages

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and support overtime as needed

• Follow assigned schedules, including start/stop times and break periods

• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing

• Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing (panelboards/switchboards preferred)

• Experience wiring power meters, controls, and electrical components

• Skilled with hand tools, electric/pneumatic tools, and measuring/testing equipment

• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and point-to-point diagrams

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

• Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
