Cultivation Technician (FA CARD Required)
- Cultivation Technician Position Summary The Cultivation Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a cannabis grow facility. This role assists in plant care, maintenance, harvesting, and sanitation to ensure healthy plant development and compliance with state regulations and company standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have strong attention to detail.
- Prune, top, trellis, and defoliate plants as directed
- Transplant clones and seedlings
- Maintain proper environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow)
- Assist with harvesting, cutting, and hanging plants
- Buck and trim flower (hand-trim or machine assist)
- Weigh and record harvested product
- Support drying and curing processes
- Package and label product as needed
- Maintain clean and organized grow rooms
- Follow all state compliance regulations and company SOPs
- Accurately complete tracking logs and inventory documentation
- Sanitize tools, trays, and work areas regularly
- Assist with waste disposal according to compliance standards
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Must possess or obtain required state cannabis worker permit/license
- Ability to pass background screening (if required by state regulations)
- Previous cultivation or agricultural experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs
- Comfortable working around strong odors and cannabis allergens
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of plant biology (preferred)

- Indoor cultivation facility
- Exposure to high humidity, bright grow lights, and plant allergens
- May require PPE (gloves, protective eyewear, coveralls)
- Physically active role requiring bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
Key Responsibilities Plant Care & Maintenance
Water plants according to established schedules and cultivation plans
Mix and apply nutrients under supervision
Monitor plant health and report pests, deficiencies, or abnormalities
