The Director of Renewable Solutions will oversee the development and implementation of QED’s Renewable Solutions strategies. This role involves leading a team, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to advance our Renewable Solutions offerings.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute strategic vision for renewable energy solutions in alignment with company goals
- Build effective relationships with customers, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect/support company vision, mission, and core values to meet/exceed customer expectation
- Enhancing QED renewable solutions offering to provide vale added customer support
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new service solutions and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs implementing measures to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive market growth
- Analyze renewable energy market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Other duties may be assigned.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles within electrical industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of Renewable Energy solutions and market sector
- Strong leadership and management skills with ability to lead and manage a business unit
- Proven track record of directing, developing and managing people
- Drive continual improvement through ongoing training and mentoring
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers, peers and customers
- Strong planning, execution, and analytical skills
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary business information
- Experience with Eclipse or similar CRM system
- Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in Sales/Marketing and 5+ years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Electrical, Renewable Energy and/or distribution experience strongly preferred
- Adapts easily to new situations, people, culture, and technology by choosing the right skill set at the right moment and place
- Can appropriately challenge the status quo; never satisfied and always looking to improve
- Is curious, willing to learn and explore new topics and to apply new learnings that align with current business objectives
