Job Description
Engage in hands-on assembling of electrical control panels, wiring harnesses, and related components used in industrial automation systems. We seek dependable individuals with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Build and route wiring harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and terminating cables.
- Connect drivers and electrical components without programming requirements.
- Perform wiring inside control panels, junction boxes, and Dixel panels.
- Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
- Install and secure mechanical components, including coil pumps, heat trace elements, and enclosures.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Assist in layout, mounting, and assembly of panel frames, hardware, and electrical devices.
- Perform self-checks to ensure accurate wiring and clean panel layouts.
- Maintain safe work practices and comply with all facility safety policies.
- Keep work area organized and follow standard operating procedures.
Essential Skills
- Assembly and wire harness skills.
- Crimping and panel building knowledge.
- Ability to read schematics and use hand tools.
- Soldering and blueprint reading skills.
- Understanding of mechanical, cable, and electrical wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a control panel shop.
- Hands-on wiring experience with harnesses, terminations, crimping, and routing.
- Experience with industrial controls or automation components.
- Familiarity with heat trace, Dixel systems, or panel build environments.
- Basic mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
- Ability to read basic diagrams or willingness to learn.
- Strong manual dexterity and comfort using tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
- Excellent attendance and communication skills.

Work Environment
- Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Training will be provided for 3-4 weeks on a Monday-Friday schedule from 8am-4:30pm.
- Once training is complete, the schedule will shift to 6am-4:30pm from Monday to Thursday.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
