Arizona Cath Lab RN Job Details

• Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona (Zip: 85635) – Arizona nursing jobs
• Facility Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nurse Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (October 13, 2025 – January 12, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (06:30 – 16:30), 40 hours per week
• Weekend & Call: Weekend shifts and on-call rotation required
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner EHR
• Patient Population: Adults, geriatrics; occasional pediatrics (not assigned to traveler)
• Housing: Housing options available for travel nurses
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500-$2560

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state – required for Arizona healthcare jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• BLS certification (AHA) – required for all nursing jobs
• Proven clinical skills in cardiac catheterization procedures and patient monitoring
• Ability to work weekends and participate in call rotation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Monitor patient status, recognize and respond to emergencies in the Cath Lab
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document all care accurately in Cerner electronic health records
• Participate in scheduled weekend shifts and on-call coverage
• Uphold safety protocols and infection control standards in the clinical setting
