General Overview:

The position of Shipping Manager is integral position managing our logistics and connecting our finished business products with our valued customers. In this key position as a Shipping Manager, you are responsible for inbound and outbound logistics ensuring a smooth flow of goods and materials are transported to the intended recipient, customer, vendor, employee, or inventory destination, on-time and in the most efficient manner possible.

In many ways Shipping managers are the face of the company at the most critical time, when the in hands due date is anticipated. Your role ensures customers are cared for at the highest level of service while providing detailed shipping and logistics coordination, valuable transport knowledge and trusted advocacy that the deliverable is on schedule. This position reports directly to the VP of Manufacturing.

Essential Duties of Artisan Colour's Shipping Manager

• Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in every aspect of work and dealing with others. Treats customers and coworkers alike with a strong sense of professionalism. Consistently models desired behaviors and values established by our company's mission statement
• Learns, utilizes, and embraces Artisan's printIQ MIS platform and OrderJet platform daily to monitor work in progress and schedule on-time delivery of awarded jobs on behalf of our clients, customers, and outsource partners.
• Manages the overall process of how materials and supplies are received and positioned for internal storage
• Support and liaise with Sales Reps and Project Managers through in-person meetings, email, Slack, phone, or other electronic media. Serves customers by supporting Artisan's products and exceeding customer expectations
• Coordinates and oversee Artisan's Delivery Van for efficient transportation good and materials
• Fosters a strong company culture through consistent communication of customer objectives and improvement opportunities. Cultivates a friendly, respectful rapport with their manufacturing counterparts working to motivate and inspire the employees of our company through a teamwork approach
• Understands the company handbook, employment policies, data protection policies and security practice

Education Requirement

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Hours:

• 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, Overtime as needed.
