Accounting Manager $115k-$125k base salary (depending on experience) Greater Phoenix, AZ (Remote) Vaco has partnered with an exciting public manufacturing company to hire an Accounting Manager. This role offers the opportunity to own procure-to-pay, inventory, and fixed asset accounting while helping build scalable processes within a rapidly growing organization. You'll partner closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, improve automation, and support a developing shared services model. Perks and Opportunities : Remote flexibility for Arizona-based candidates with limited quarterly travel High-impact role with a growing company expanding through acquisitions Equity opportunity and direct exposure to executive leadership Responsibilities : Lead procure-to-pay operations, including procurement workflows, vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice processing, accounts payable, and payment controls. Oversee inventory and cost accounting while partnering with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering on receipts, transfers, reserves, and reconciliations. Own fixed asset accounting and related close activities, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support quarterly reviews and annual audits while strengthening policies, internal controls, documentation, and public company reporting readiness. Manage and develop the accounting team while driving automation, reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement across the procure-to-pay function. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required 5 years of progressive accounting, procure-to-pay, accounts payable, inventory, cost accounting, or fixed asset experience required Manufacturing or another inventory-focused industry background required Prior people management experience required Public company experience required Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
