responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Experience Cloud Architect / Technical Lead to oversee the end-to-end architecture, security, and hands-on development of high-performance digital community platforms. This role requires a blend of enterprise-level architectural strategy, technical development leadership, and C-suite stakeholder management.

  • Location Requirement: Local to the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area only (On-site/Hybrid as required).
  • Role Type: Technical Leadership / Architecture & Hands-on Development.
Key Responsibilities 1. Architectural Design & Strategy
  • Solutioning: Lead the end-to-end architecture of enterprise Experience Cloud sites, strategically selecting between LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) and Aura templates based on strict performance, scalability, and SEO requirements.
  • Security & Identity: Design and implement robust external security models utilizing Salesforce External Identity, Single Sign-On (SSO), and complex sharing mechanisms (including Account Relationship Data Sharing and Apex Managed Sharing).
  • Governance: Define and maintain branching strategies and CI/CD deployment pipelines tailored specifically for Experience Cloud metadata management.
2. Technical Development & Hands-on Leadership
  • Advanced LWC: Develop modular, high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC) specifically optimized for the LWR framework.
  • Personalization: Implement advanced Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS architectures to deliver hyper-personalized user journeys.
  • Process Automation: Design sophisticated backend workflows using Headless Flows and asynchronous Apex to efficiently process high-volume external user transactions.
3. Data & Platform Integration
  • Data Cloud Integration: Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to surface unified customer profiles within the digital community environment to deliver a seamless 360-degree user experience.
  • API Management: Develop, optimize, and maintain secure integrations with external enterprise systems (such as ERP, AWS, and Marketing Cloud) via REST/SOAP APIs and Named Credentials.
4. Leadership & Governance
  • Code Review & Standards: Enforce strict coding standards and engineering best practices to ensure absolute governor limit compliance, security, and platform scalability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Present comprehensive technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and translate complex business requirements into agile technical user stories for the development team.
