Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant / Scribe to join our team. In this role, you will gather and document information about clients for their doctors visits. Responsibilities include printing lab reports, completing summaries of treatment sessions, charting doctors appointments, and operating electronic health records.
- Signing bonus paid after 6 weeks of uninterrupted, full-time employment.
- Retention bonus paid after 90 days of uninterrupted, full-time, employment.
- Candidates should be compassionate, kind, professional and energetic.
- EMR experience , medication knowledge, good verbal and written communication skills and routine procedure experience a must.
- Documenting patients visits by taking notes and entering them in the electronic health records system
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation
- Coordinate with doctor to complete and submit medical records
- Complete medical assisting and administrative tasks as requested
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar position
- Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation
- Strong computer and transcription skills
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements
- Highly organized with excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
