Faculty Neuropsychologist

**Responsibilities** The BNI staff neuropsychologist provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment services within the scope of their licensing, training, and clinical privileges, and supervises and teaches residents and/or fellows as indicated. Staff neuropsychologists with dedicated research time demonstrate productivity in research through publications and grant funding. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Provides appropriate and effective neuropsychological care as required to diagnose and treat the psychological manifestations of neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions. + Works collaboratively with the Department Chair, Practice Manager, and BNI senior leadership to ensure that high quality patient care is provided in an efficient and consistent manner. + Participates in the training, supervision, and evaluation of psychometrists, as applicable + Participates in activities that improve patient access and patient satisfaction. + Develops and maintains positive relationships with community health care providers to develop and encourage bidirectional patient referrals. **Qualifications** **Education and Experience** + PhD or PsyD + Two (2) years clinical experience as post-doctorate fellow in a clinical neuropsychology program **Licensure** + Arizona Psychology License + American Heart Association Basic Life Support card **Overview** Located conveniently in the heart of Phoenix Arizona, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 571-bed not-for-profit hospital that provides a wide range of health social and support services.
