Yard Associate
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Prep: Wash, detail, and refuel machinery (from power tools to excavators) to ensure it’s "Ready-to-Rent."
- Inspections: Conduct "Check-In" inspections of returning gear, documenting fluid levels, hour meters, and any new damage via a tablet.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load/unload transport trucks and customer vehicles.
- Yard Logistics: Organize the equipment lot by category to ensure drivers can find and move inventory quickly.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, hazard-free yard and wash bay; replace safety decals and manage spill containment.
- Customer Support: Provide friendly, professional assistance to contractors and DIYers during equipment pickup and drop-off.
