X-Ray Technician (Orthopedic)

Locations: Mesa & Scottsdale, AZ

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $36.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: M-F 8-5 Full-Time, No Weekends & Early-Out Fridays!

About the Role

We are a fast-paced, multi-location specialty clinic seeking a skilled and efficient X-Ray Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech who thrives in a busy environment, excels at patient care, and takes pride in producing high-quality diagnostic images.

This role supports our providers in our Mesa and Scottsdale clinics. The Scottsdale office is particularly high-volume, often with 4-5 providers working simultaneously. We are looking for a team player who can keep up and deliver excellence.

Compensation:

• $23.00 - $36.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.

Locations & Schedule:

This position will work across our two clinic locations:

• Mesa:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Scottsdale:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays with a specialized focus on hips, knees, shoulders, and feet . (Note: Very limited spine work).

• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety.

• Maintain a repeat rate of 2% or less , demonstrating precision and technical expertise.

• Practice strict radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and yourself.

• Ensure all x-ray equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with regulations.

• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.

• Accurately log all completed procedures and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked x-ray room.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must-Have (Required):

• Certification: ARRT (R) Certification required.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program and a High School Diploma (or equivalent).

• Experience: 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician is ideal.

• Skills: Strong multi-tasking abilities are essential to manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred):

• Ortho-Specific Experience: Previous experience in an orthopedic setting is highly valued.

• Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish is a major plus.

• Skills: Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding.

• Experience: Several years of proven experience.
