Shipping Assistant

Acara Solutions is looking for a shipping assistant to assist our client out in Scottsdale, AZ who specializes in semiconductor manufacturing.

Here is what you will get:

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Here is what you will do:

• Receiving inbound mail and packages
• Time/date stamp all incoming/outgoing mail.
• Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution.
• Sorts and delivers interdepartmental mail including notices and memoranda.
• Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine.
• Pick, pack, and process customer and internal orders using warehouse management software.
• Create shipping labels using DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS
• Coordinate collection of freight shipments.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Stock supplies needed for the mailroom.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of related shipping or admin support experience.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Works independently on moderately complex and semi-routine tasks.
• Communicates effectively and professionally
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines
• Must be able to pass required Pre-Employment Screenings
• Must be willing and able to Travel between both locations
