Position Description

• Here you will work in a modern, dynamic factory environment. Our growing facility has high- quality, core engineered and make-to-order products. The industrial engineers responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. This role has a strong emphasis on developing and implementing production reports, recipe management and equipment reports( need to have the ability to do software coding). This includes documentation and performance measurement of manufacturing, new product introduction into our workflows, production improvements, capital expenditures, cost savings measures, factory control systems, and automation. This role interacts with all FAB departments to create continuous improvement culture at the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and implement manufacturing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Support layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational
• efficiency.
• Apply industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling.
• Factory control small projects: architect, write, and debug code with an emphasis on code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable for high-volume manufacturing applications (Ability to write small fab application software code)
• Maintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes.
• Implement and sustain factory control systems including production flow and equipment automation, material tracking system, critical measurement data analysis system, tracking equipment metrics system,

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in factory automation support
• Experience writing small fab application software code
• Knowledge of SEMI regulations and standards in particular as they relate to semiconductor manufacturing environments and process engineering
• Demonstrated ability creating, administering and managing factory control programs and continuously improving manufacturing efficiency
• Technical proficiency with material management systems and production software such as MES and statistical factory controls
• Technical proficiency with factory automation (SECS/GEM, SemiE10 Standards, PowerBI, Etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in cost modeling, data analysis, and production planning.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and cost modeling.
