Maintenance Mechanic - Extrusion

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Tooling: Execute extrusion head changes, sizing sleeves, and saw jaw adjustments.

• Technical Maintenance: Repair plant equipment, forklifts, and company trucks; troubleshoot electrical systems.

• Leadership: Train associates, manage work orders, and consult on cost-effective repair strategies.

• Safety & On-Call: Respond to emergency power or equipment failures and lead safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma plus 2 years of technical training.

• Experience: 10+ years of recent manufacturing maintenance experience.

• Skills: Proficiency in blueprints, wiring schematics, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

Pay: Starts at $30.00/hr (DOE) Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision, PTO, 5% 401k match, ST disability, 8 paid holidays, and weekly catered lunches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Execute extrusion tooling changes (heads, sleeves, saws) based on schedules.

• Maintenance: Repair plant equipment, building grounds, and motorized vehicles (forklifts/trucks).

• Technical: Perform electrical troubleshooting (VFD/PLC) and read blueprints/schematics.

• Safety & Leadership: Monitor equipment safety, document activities, train staff, and participate in an on-call emergency program.

Requirements:

• High school diploma plus 2 years of technical training.

• 10+ years of recent manufacturing maintenance experience.

The essential functions of this role include:
