Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

1. Lead and manage all general ledger activities.
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Manage bank reconciliations accurately and timely.
4. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
5. Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
6. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and report variances.
7. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
8. Work closely with the audit team to conduct internal and external audits.
9. Train and mentor junior staff in accounting principles and company procedures.
10. Stay updated with industry trends and current financial legislation.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
7. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
9. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
