Caregiver
Job Summary: Senior Helpers - Tucson is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Caregiver. In this role, you will provide in-home care for seniors in the West Tucson area, promoting their independence and improving their quality of life. As an individual contributor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and their families. Compensation & Benefits: This is an hourly position with competitive pay based on experience. As part of the Senior Helpers team, you will also have access to benefits such as ongoing training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities:
- Assist seniors with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
- Monitor and report changes in client's health and behavior
- Communicate regularly with clients' families and Senior Helpers staff
- Adhere to all client care plans and follow all safety protocols
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving, preferably with seniors
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Positive attitude, empathy, and ability to build trust with clients
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
