Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage incidents, support access control and badge checks, and assist with alarms and reports using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, unauthorized access concerns, and after-hours inquiries.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, labs, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor check-in direction, and report suspicious behavior and/or unsecured doors according to post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and policy exceptions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and onsite client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have security experience ‐ 6+ months.
• Be comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
