Pre Sales Engineer (Microsoft Focus) - Systems Integrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Presales Leadership:
- Lead discovery sessions to identify modernization opportunities across data, AI, and cloud.
- Translate business requirements into high-level solution architectures and engagement approaches.
- Present AI, analytics, governance, and cloud capabilities with clear business value alignment.
- Develop solution narratives, conceptual designs, and support proposals/SOW development.
- Partner with Account Executives to scope, qualify, and position opportunities.
- Sales Cycle Support:
- Drive momentum for AI and data-focused engagements through workshops and executive presentations.
- Advise on Microsoft licensing, cloud programs, and subscription models.
- Ensure solutions are framed with business outcomes, governance awareness, and risk considerations.
- Microsoft Partner Alignment:
- Support Partner Center activities including incentives, CoSell readiness, and CPOR alignment.
- Stay current on Microsoft AI and cloud programs impacting funding and deal acceleration.
- Maintain relevant certifications to support credibility.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years working with Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, AI solutions).
- Presales engineering, consulting, or enterprise advisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AI, Copilot, Fabric, Synapse, Dataverse, and Purview.
- Understanding of Microsoft licensing and cloud subscription models.
- Proven ability to support full sales cycles from discovery through proposal.
Preferred Certifications:
- Azure AI Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect
- Power Platform or Fabric certifications
- Security, compliance, or data governance certifications
Key Skills:
- Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Consultative discovery and business problem framing
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
- Organized and comfortable managing multiple presales engagements
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AI strategy, governance advisory, or data modernization
- Familiarity with industry verticals such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, or government
- Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud environments
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred)
Salary:
- $100,000 - $125,000
