POSITION SUMMARY:
Oaks Property Management is seeking a dynamic and personable Community Manager to lead the daily operations and enhance the resident experience at our premier property in Chandler, AZ. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll oversee financial performance, staff management, resident satisfaction, and property upkeep. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator with excellent customer service skills, able to build rapport with residents and team members alike. You should thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, be detail-oriented, and enjoy problem-solving. Your leadership will be key in creating a vibrant and engaging community atmosphere while ensuring the property is well-maintained, financially stable, and operating at the highest level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and supervise property staff including leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams.
- Oversee leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts to maximize occupancy.
- Manage budgets, rent collections, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal stability.
- Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, landlord-tenant laws, and company policies.
- Conduct community inspections, safety meetings, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain strong communication with residents, owners, vendors, and the regional office.
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, and apartment inspections.
- Make recommendations for property improvements and rent adjustments based on market conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years of property management experience, including lease-up is required.
- Yardi experience is required (please note on resume)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Real Estate License, CAM, CPM, or ARM certification highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $74,000 - $85,000 based on experience
Bonus: Quarterly
