Pharmacist - Emergency Room (Inpatient) - Peridot, AZ
Pharmacist – ER/Inpatient (Contract)

40 hours/week | 8-hour shifts | 5 days/week
Hospital-based Pharmacist needed for ER and Inpatient coverage.
Requirements:
- Active Arizona Pharmacist license
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- ER pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical skills in medication verification and acute care support
- Experience with IV compounding and hospital EMR systems
Duties:
- Verify and dispense medications for ER and inpatient units
- Prepare and compound IV medications safely
- Support medication reconciliation and dosing adjustments (renal, hepatic, pediatrics, geriatrics)
- Assist with code/rapid response situations as needed
- Provide drug information to providers and nursing staff
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations
- Document all pharmacy activities accurately in EMR
