Customer Service Equipment Representative

National Calibration is a leading calibration laboratory dedicated to providing accurate and reliable calibration services to a diverse range of industries. We are committed to excellence in customer service and are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from equipment receipt to shipment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service .

Responsibilities:

Equipment Logging: Accurately log incoming equipment into our tracking system, ensuring all necessary information is captured.

Equipment Receiving: Receive and inspect incoming equipment, verifying completeness and noting any discrepancies.

Equipment Checkout: Manage equipment checkout and return processes for clients, maintaining accurate records.

Client Communication:

Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.

Provide updates on equipment status and calibration progress.

Proactively communicate with clients regarding any issues or delays.

Phone Support: Answer incoming calls, provide information and direct calls to the appropriate personnel .

Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, file documents, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a technical or industrial setting .

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational and time management skills .

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) .

Ability to learn and utilize specialized software and tracking systems.

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift and move packages, up to a certain weight.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a calibration laboratory or related industry.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Familiarity with quality management systems.
