Pool Construction Manager

Urban Outdoor Solutions is a luxury design-build company specializing in high-end pools and outdoor living projects across the East Valley, AZ. We are seeking a Pool and Landscape Construction Manager who thrives in detail-driven environments, partners closely with our Project Coordinator, and ensures every project is executed with quality, professionalism, and efficiency. 

About the Role

The Construction Manager is the field general - responsible for day-to-day jobsite execution, trade coordination, quality control, and ensuring all materials and tasks align with the construction plan. This role requires someone who is both a leader and a hands-on problem solver, with the authority to hold subcontractors accountable and the professionalism to represent our brand on-site. You'll not only manage construction schedules, but also key logistics such as: verifying deliveries, handling pallet returns, and making sure jobsites run without missing materials. 

Responsibilities

Field Oversight & Quality

• Manage day-to-day field activities for $100k+ pool and outdoor living projects, with an emphasis on safety and quality.
• Ensure subcontractors show up prepared, understand scope, and work to plans. 
• Inspect quality with phase-specific checklists. 
• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional. 
• Upload daily and milestone photos into JobTread. 

Coordination & Communication

• Sync daily with the Project Coordinator on schedules, deliveries, and tasks. 
• Attend kickoff and weekly review meetings. 
• Communicate clearly with trades, clients, and office—no surprises. 
• Escalate issues quickly and resolve proactively. 

Materials & Logistics

• Verify deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and timing. 
• Handle missing/extra material runs, pallet returns, and delivery returns. 
• Move and stage materials as needed (must be able to lift 50+ lbs). 
• Protect job efficiency by ensuring jobs never stall due to missing materials. 

Documentation & Closeout

• Follow checklists for every phase of construction—document, don't assume.
• Record issues and wins for project closeout reviews.
• Maintain accurate logs in JobTread for full team visibility.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years managing residential construction (pool, landscape, or GC).
• Deep knowledge of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and safety best practices.
• Proven authority and professionalism in leading subcontractors.
• Proficient with project management software (JobTread experience a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with a detail-first mindset.
• Client-facing professionalism in all things.
• Must be physically capable of lifting/moving materials (50+ lbs).
• Valid driver's license
