Position Summary: The Accounting Manager - Client Reporting serves as an accounting & reporting liaison for Progress's 3rd party property management company (PR3M) clients. This role involves participating in due diligence and onboarding client calls, implementing client reporting policies and standardizing financial reporting packages for PR3M. This person will ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient production of standard and custom reports to internal and external clients. They will develop effective partnerships with client service and portfolio management professionals as well as colleagues in other operations teams. He/she will be adept at operating in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving atmosphere. Essential Functions:

• Manages the day-to-day functions of the client reporting team.
• Evaluate team workflows to propose and implement improvements in efficiencies
• Monitor team performance, available capacity, and training needs
• Serve as the point of contact for all client financial reporting and accounting matters
• Ensures that client accounting requirements are communicated to the internal accounting team
• Assist with month end close procedures as it relates to 3rd party clients
• Effectively present financial data to clients
• Maintain best-in-class quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and report accuracy while identifying opportunities for data quality improvement
• Identity and implement ways to standardize financial reporting across clients
• Manage client audit requests, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance required and CPA strongly preferred
• 6+ years of accounting & reporting leadership experience
• Yardi experience (multi-family) preferred
• Real Estate/Property Management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate and present data to key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Ability to improve and streamline multiple processes across different functions of department
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Proven problem solving, analytical, troubleshooting and time-management skills
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills; has ability to convey a clear and concise thought.
