Production Planning Analyst

Salad and Go is seeking a Production Planning Analyst who will be responsible for production planning across restaurant locations and production facilities to optimize inventory, minimize waste, and ensure seamless operations. This role involves analyzing sales trends, seasonality, and market data to develop accurate demand plans that align with business goals. The analyst collaborates closely with supply chain, operations, and culinary teams to balance production capacity with restaurant needs, ensuring the right ingredients and products are available at the right time. Additionally, they refine forecasting models, monitor performance metrics, and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.

As the Production Planning Analyst, you :

• Must be able to apply forecasting techniques to predict daily demand while considering various independent internal and external variables that affect the supply chain and daily business operations and translate revenue data into ingredient level usage.
• Will be expected to work closely with procurement, production and retail store teams to support them with revenue and ingredient data.
• Must have the ability to provide ad-hoc requests from production and other stakeholders by using historical data and other qualitative inputs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Passionate about process optimization & planning with a c an-do attitude and energy motivated to identify areas of improvement and work to find solutions.
• Experience with applying statistical methods & modeling as related to production & forecasting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VBA/VBS scripting, Pivot tables, and automation. Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, including SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of employees, critical decision making, prioritization, and people skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge in data analytics, relational databases across various platforms.

Skills and Specifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Must understand the requirements and processes of a 3rd party logistics company.
• Experience with quickly distilling thousands of lines of data from multiple sources to determine capabilities.
• Quick adaptability to adjust daily/weekly/monthly build plan(s) on short notice.
• Organizational and time management skills, deadline driven, technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software, math and analytical skills, knowledge of process and quality control.
• Knowledge in inventory management including safety stocks, PAR levels, supply chain management and inventory management is a plus.
• Preferred to have any related APICs certifications in supply chain
