Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop and prepare their orders. Your goal is to ensure customers enjoy their drinks and time at our shop. Always aiming for a magical and super welcoming atmosphere! The ideal candidate is passionate about serving quality products and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure full customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a genuine smile and positive attitude
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Create a variety of creative drinks, from basic to more complex
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Always check on the customers
Qualifications :
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule in case needed to be on call
