POSITION OVERVIEW
The Bus account Manager is charged with developing and maintaining optimum sales volume and profit for assigned territory and accounts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop necessary sales techniques to achieve sales and profit objectives.
- Maintain proper attitude and willingness to fulfill sales responsibilities.
- Maintain liaison with trade to ascertain customer acceptance and competitive strengths.
- Assist customers in selecting/ordering buses by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Use sales skills to get on all eligible bid lists and vendor lists for all assigned accounts.
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the sales of the buses.
- Meet or exceed objectives for bus deliveries established by the dealership.
- Use all reasonable methods of prospecting for bus customers on a daily basis, either by telephone or by making calls to individuals and business outside the dealership.
