Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 18 months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

Special Requests:Start dates are not flexible.Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule.Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months.Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit Details:Patient ratios: Days 1:5-6; nights 1:6.Common diagnoses/patient population: mostly medical patients including pneumonia, COPD, radiation patients, AKI, and occasional lap chole and appendectomy cases.Heparin and lasix gtt - non-titrated.Charge nurse is sometimes free but can take an assignment if needed.PCA support: 8-12 per PCA.RT equipment includes BiPAP and stable trach care.Tele on this unit; travelers do not need to read tele, and there is a dedicated monitor tech.

Shift & Scheduling:36-hour contracts only (48-hour contracts unavailable); can pick up additional shifts.Every other weekend.Typically 2/3 holidays.No more than 5 days of RTO.Low census on-call.

Floating Requirements:Float to MedSurg, stable low-acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission
