Looking for Flexibility Now — With Room to Grow?

If you’re a paramedic, EMT, RN, or LVN with IV and EKG experience looking for meaningful clinical
work on your terms — we’d love to hear from you.

Join Our Growing Nuclear Cardiology Team

MD Office Solutions (MDOS) provides nuclear cardiology imaging services directly to physician offices, outpatient clinics, and hospital environments across Arizona — delivering high-quality cardiac diagnostics where patients need them most. Our Arizona operations are based in Phoenix.

Our Cardiac Stress Technicians work alongside Nuclear Medicine Technologists and site physicians in a collaborative, team-based environment, supporting cardiac stress testing procedures and maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Paid training is provided for candidates transitioning into the CST role. This position is ideal for EMTs, paramedics, and other clinical professionals seeking a transition into a weekday cardiology environment — with a predictable schedule and room to grow.

Newly licensed and career-transitioning candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$27-$30 per hour, based on experience and employment status.

MDOS operates on a biweekly pay period. Full-time status is defined as 30 or more hours per week. We currently have urgent openings for Full-Time and PRN Cardiac Stress Technicians in the Phoenix area.

A Typical Day at MDOS

Your day begins at the MDOS hub, where you'll meet your Nuclear Medicine Technologist, prepare the imaging equipment, and review the day's clinic schedule. Together, you'll travel to outpatient cardiology clinic locations to support cardiac stress testing procedures — ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Most days involve supporting one primary clinic location, with occasional travel between nearby sites depending on scheduling needs. Clinic schedules are generally heaviest Tuesday through Thursday. Most workdays occur Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday coverage depending on operational needs.

MDOS provides all equipment and supplies needed to perform testing at each clinic location.

Position Overview

The Cardiac Stress Technician works under the direct supervision of the site physician and assists with nuclear medicine cardiac stress testing procedures, including patient preparation and monitoring during exercise and pharmacological stress testing. CSTs also support mobile imaging operations, including equipment setup, supply management, van operation, and patient documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing, including consent, vitals, and peripheral IV access
  • Set up and monitor 12-lead EKG stress testing, including lead placement, rhythm identification, and interpretation
  • Administer pharmacological stress agents under physician supervision and apply ACLS protocols if complications arise
  • Drive and operate the company van in compliance with Radiation Safety and DOT regulations
  • Set up and break down mobile operations at customer sites, including equipment, pharmaceutical supplies, and medical waste disposal
  • Work alongside Nuclear Medicine Technologists and site physicians during procedures
  • Maintain medical supplies and equipment
  • Complete and submit patient charting on the same day of service
