About the Role As a Caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one, non-medical care that allows seniors and individuals in need to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. You'll build meaningful relationships while making a lasting difference in someone's life every day. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with walking and mobility
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and community outings
- Supporting clients with daily living activities while promoting independence
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communicators with a positive attitude
- Physically able to perform caregiver duties
- Reliable and punctual
- CNA or HHA certification preferred or
- At least 1,000 hours of caregiving experience , including approximately 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time experience caring for seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses
- Exceptions may be considered for newly licensed CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, those with family caregiving experience, or applicants providing companionship and housekeeping services only
- Current TB test
- Reliable transportation
- If transporting clients, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required
- Ability to pass a national criminal background check and drug screening
- This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to applicable state and federal regulations
