Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a strong mechanical aptitude and background in commercial HVAC equipment, with at least 3 years of experience in commercial air conditioning and mechanical systems. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on commercial properties.

Equipment types that will be worked on include:

Cooling tower service, central plant service, Chillers, Chilled water pumps, ductless systems, 10–50-ton units, built-up systems, and various commercial building systems. Experience working with central plants and chilled water systems is a big benefit.

This is a permanent, full-time position. The wage will be based on experience and will be discussed during the interview. The applicant must have a clean Arizona driver's license and be drug-free.

General Responsibilities

• Service HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, identifying issues related to mechanical components.
• Collaborate with property owners, managers, maintenance teams, and tenants to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Requirements
• Proven experience as a commercial HVAC Service Technician in the heating and cooling industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems effectively.
• Ability to perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC installations.
• Proficiency in plumbing, welding, and refrigerating techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
