Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School Occupational Therapist position is available in Somerton, AZ, serving a high school population from grades 9 through 12. This is a contract role beginning ASAP with an end date at the end of the school year (EOSY). The position involves working 37.5 hours per week throughout the contract term.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 140 students.
• Collaborate with other occupational therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure continuity of care.
• Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans to support their functional development within the school environment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
• Document student progress and ply with school and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with appropriate credentials for school-based practice.
• Experience working with adolescent populations, particularly grades 9-12.
• Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while providing quality care.
• Strong munication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families.
• Familiarity with educational regulations and school therapy protocols.
