Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desired
- Familiarity with IEP development and goal setting
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Creative problem-solver who adapts interventions for students with varying abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to IEP development, and offer expertise on adaptive strategies and modifications
