Operations Manager - Roofing & Construction

Division:  West Coast Roofing / West Coast Commercial Roofing

Are you an experienced leader in roofing or construction operations with a passion for business growth? West Coast Roofing is seeking a dynamic  Operations Manager  to oversee production, field operations, and business development for both our Residential and Commercial divisions, with a strong focus on Commercial projects

What You’ll Do:

• Lead daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
• Manage project schedules, manpower, and deadlines
• Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen
• Enforce compliance with contracts, manufacturer specs, OSHA, and AZ ROC standards
• Oversee subcontractor onboarding and performance
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Develop training programs for field leaders
• Track budgets, costs, and profitability
• Manage equipment, fleet, and materials
• Resolve escalated customer or project issues
• Drive warranty response and customer satisfaction

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial and residential roofing
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, vendors, and industry partners
• Collaborate with Sales and Estimating teams to support lead generation and project acquisition
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic growth decisions

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years in roofing or construction operations, including 3+ years in management
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Roofing Systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, Coatings, Metal, etc.)
• OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
• Proven experience managing profit & loss
• Familiarity with Roofing CRMs, QuickBooks Online, and construction scheduling tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and build client relationships
