Workday Accounting Tech Portfolio Leader

Job Description:

• An Accounting Technology Portfolio Leader is responsible for managing the support and operations for a group of technologies that enable the accounting function.
• This role is responsible to manage the full application lifecycle of the solutions, from inception through development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• They collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement enhancements, oversee the solutions performance, and ensures compliance with security and governance policies.

Core Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Workday Financials, Prism/Accounting Center, and proficiency in configuring systems to solution for organizational needs.
• Experience with data migration and integration projects within financial systems.
• Adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Workday environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to understand and interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise information transfer.
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable technical specifications.

Product Solution Design and Technical Requirements:

• Provide support to Product Owners, through the full project lifecycle, from initial implementation to ongoing enhancements / optimizations, addressing and resolving issues related to the Workday Financials system.

• Configure and maintain the Workday Financials / Accounting Center Prism solution to meet the organization's needs.

• Develop a deep understanding of financial / accounting business processes and their technical integration with Workday functionalities.

Application Portfolio Management:

• Oversee the management and execution of the Financials / Accounting systems portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Guarantee the integrity of financial data within the system, supporting regular audits and validations.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate financial / accounting systems and ensure seamless operations.
