Assembly Operator

The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling and inspecting electrical components for Power Distribution Units (PDUs). This role involves working with cables, harnesses, and both electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment, adhering strictly to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble Power Distribution Units and other electrical components per specifications.
• Assemble cables, harnesses, electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment to engineering specifications.
• Replace and remove electrical components on PDUs as needed or repair units.

Essential Skills:

• 1 year of experience in assembly with a focus on mechanical aspects.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.Ps) and work safely.
• Ability to read and write to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for 8 hours.

Work Environment:

The work environment includes 1st shift hours from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The role requires standing for extended periods and involves hands-on tool use in an assembly line setting.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
