Event assignments take place throughout the greater Phoenix area, including Downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Paradise Valley, and surrounding resort and event properties across the Valley. We staff events throughout the region.

We partner with top hotels, resorts, private clubs, caterers, corporate campuses, and event venues across the Valley. Due to increased client demand in the Phoenix market, we are expanding our banquet service team and seeking polished, reliable banquet event servers.
Position Summary
The Banquet Event Server provides high-quality service in a variety of event settings including corporate banquets, weddings, galas, fundraisers, conferences, and private events. This is a flexible, on-call position ideal for hospitality professionals who take pride in delivering excellent service, enjoy working at different venues, and want consistent event opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional banquet-style service including tray passing, buffet assistance, table service, and event breakdown
• Follow detailed service timelines and direction from onsite captains and leads
• Set up banquet tables, linen, glassware, and service stations
• Deliver a polished guest experience with strong attention to detail
• Carry and serve trays of plated meals or glassware safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing event needs
• Follow venue and company safety, uniform, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
• Minimum 6 months of banquet service, catering, or restaurant hospitality experience
• Ability to carry cocktail trays, serve wine, and execute banquet-style service
• Arizona Title 4 (Basic/Manager) certification preferred for beverage service events
• ServSafe Food Handler card required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Reliable transportation to travel to event locations across the Phoenix metro area
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Weekend and evening availability required
Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for 6–10 hours per shift
• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as needed
• Work in indoor and outdoor event environments, sometimes in varying temperatures
Work Environment
• Team-based with direction from event captains and clients
• High-energy event atmosphere with varying pace
• Assignments issued through mobile scheduling; flexibility is essential
Compensation
• Hourly pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour base pay, depending on the event
