Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a part-time Special Education Teacher position within a school setting in Chandler, AZ, supporting students with diverse learning needs. The role is contract-based, running from ASAP through the end of the school year (5/15/2026), with a potential renewal for the next school year. Hours are approximately 20-25 per week, providing flexibility based on the services required and shared caseload management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to 9-10 students with varying needs, across Monday through Thursday.
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) to support students' academic and behavioral goals.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel.
• Attend prep time and coordinate flexible scheduling with caseload teams.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education (SPED) teaching license.
• Experience working with special education students in a school environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Comfort with part-time contract work and flexibility in scheduling.

Location: Chandler, AZ (with daily hours mainly from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Wednesday, and limited hours on Thursday)
