Production Associate - 1st Shift

Production Associate
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
The Production Associate supports the production of copper clad and unclad laminates by operating RF presses and handling materials in a clean room manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for press setup, monitoring, breakdown, material traceability, documentation, and data entry while following all safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate RF presses including setup, loading, monitoring, and breakdown
• Enter press recipes and verify cycles meet specifications
• Assemble laminate books and insert thermocouple wires as required
• Inspect copper, film, and prepreg for defects
• Maintain material identification and traceability using Lot Travelers
• Complete production documentation and enter jobs into the Oracle system
• Pull, store, and cycle count copper and prepreg materials
• Maintain clean rooms, equipment, and housekeeping standards
• Follow all Methods of Procedure, safety rules, and OSHA standards
• Transfer completed lots using a forklift
• Support special projects and cross train in other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures
• Basic computer skills and accurate data entry
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a clean room environment
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds
• Use hands and arms for handling materials and tools
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Visual and hearing ability required for production floor safety

Safety & Compliance

• Must follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
