Finance Analyst
- Support FP&A Managers by providing accurate financial analysis, preparing reports and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collect, Clean and organize financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and assist with drafting footnotes and key points for financial statements.
- Find and resolve potential issues or discrepancies within the data to ensure accuracy
- Perform accurate and timely entry of financial data into relevant systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency across financial reports and records.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and Ad Hoc reports, tools and Excel or Google dashboards
- Support in reconciliation between different data sources to align fields to support analytics
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for creating and managing reports.
- Familiar with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and G-Suite (Slides and Docs).
- Able to analyze financial data and statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows).
- Skilled in spotting issues in financial reporting and suggesting improvements.
- Capable of assisting with departmental budgets and financial reports.
- Understands the difference between revenue and profitability and how business changes affect them.
- Basic knowledge of cash versus accrual accounting and their impacts.
- Able to create useful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Familiar with the month-end closing process and how accounting changes affect financial reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 1-3 years’ work experience in Finance and Accounting
