Integration Lead

Integration Lead’s support the success of Big Brand Tire & Service by ensuring our acquired team members can effectively perform Big Brand Tire & Services’ process and procedures within the timeframe outlined in the integration schedule.

Integration Lead requirements/expectations:

  • Must be able to work 50-70 hours a week and be willing to work any day of the week, as needed during active integrations (40-55 hours when not assigned to an active integration).
  • Be able to travel 2-3 weeks out of each month during an integration. 4-5 consecutive days each week.
  • Be proficient in EDGE and the Company’s practices, procedures, and policies.
  • Have a strong understanding of financials, budgets, and the Company’s goals and strategies.
  • Have strong communication, training, coaching and supervisor skills.
  • Take initiative, be hard-working, ethical, and deliver a positive integration experience.
  • Adhere to the Travel and Business Expense policy when reserving travel, making purchases, and submitting expenses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include performing all duties in accordance with applicable company, safety, customer, and regulatory requirements. Essential duties and functions of the position may vary by requirements and business needs.

  • Implements the 90 day Integration training program of 2-4 stores at any given time to prepare acquired sales and management team members for employment under Big Brand Tire’s systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Delivers training sessions on EDGE, the sales strategy, company products, business processes and practices, and other topics as needed.
  • Perform asset and inventory valuation on equipment and other business assets.
  • May conduct skill gap analysis and needs analysis to inform on staffing and future training needs.
  • Complete training checklist for all integrated team members.
  • Provide follow up training as assigned/needed and be available for questions from newly trained/acquired team members.
  • Support and coach newly acquired store teams to achieve tales and earnings targets including budgeted sales attainment, turnover reduction, alignment attach rate, incoming call service level, preferred brand sales %, outside purchase margin, and adherence to integration timeline
  • Responsible for on-time delivery and project completion of plans while identifying and resolving roadblocks for overall integration strategy success,
  • Provide specific guidance and strategies around integration and implementation approaches from both prospective and completed acquisitions transactions.
  • Define and lead multiple projects and maintain responsibility for project management, strategy development, implementation, and adoption
  • Support transaction teams throughout the due diligence, integration, implementation phases of acquisitions and work closely with key members
  • Support the creation of executive-level analysis, briefings, & reports
  • Attend all of the necessary Integration/Operations meetings as scheduled.
  • Document lessons learned throughout integrations, catalog solutions and identified best practices to support continuous improvement of integration program
  • Assist with other projects/analysis as needed.
  • When not in an active Integration, may be assigned to train new hires or retrain existing team members in different markets and report on their comprehension of the training and subsequent performance.

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • Strong automotive retail sales background with at least 2 years’ experience in a management capacity.
  • Knowledge of tires and mechanical services is required.
  • Deliver excellent Customer service with a high level of personal integrity.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong computer skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Word, Power Point.
  • Ability to speak and present in a small to medium sized group.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that is insurable under our automobile insurance.

Equipment - Ability to Use

  • Standard office equipment (e.g. telephone, computer, copy machine).
  • Automotive repair tools, power tools, hand tools.
  • Tire changing machines and balancers.
