Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Lube Technician/ Technician Apprentice to join our team.
The Lube Technician will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, lubricating mechanical systems, and inspecting fluid levels.
The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about different vehicle systems, be detail-oriented, and have excellent customer service skills.
Ultimately, the Lube Technician’s goal is to ensure that all customer vehicles are in excellent driving condition and meet all safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lubricate mechanical systems.
- Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles.
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
- Monitor inventory and order maintenance supplies as needed.
- Inspect cooling system for leaks.
- Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lube Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and vehicles.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- (Other Responsibilities may change daily upon request or owner or manager)

Additional Information
- Job Title: Lube Technician
- Work Environment: Auto repair shop. This position requires physical stamina as it involves a significant amount of standing, bending and lifting.
- Reporting Structure: Reports to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
- Pay Range: $25,000 minimum to $35,000 maximum
